Supervises: District Programme Coordinators, Field Coordinators and Programme Teams
Job Purpose
The Programme Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing assigned programmes of Unite to Groww Foundation. The position will ensure that programme activities are delivered within approved timelines, budgets and quality standards while achieving agreed outputs and outcomes.
The Programme Manager will serve as a key link between organisational leadership, field teams, government stakeholders, donors and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead programme planning, implementation and periodic review.
- Develop annual, quarterly and monthly implementation plans.
- Translate programme strategy into actionable field-level plans.
- Ensure timely delivery of programme activities and milestones.
- Supervise and mentor district, block and field teams.
- Conduct regular review meetings with programme staff.
- Coordinate with district administration, government departments and other stakeholders.
- Develop strong working relationships with local institutions, NGOs and community stakeholders.
- Undertake periodic field visits to assess programme progress and quality.
- Identify implementation gaps and ensure timely corrective action.
- Work with the M&E team to track programme KPIs, targets and outcomes.
- Ensure timely submission of programme data, reports and documentation.
- Review programme budgets and expenditure in coordination with finance teams.
- Support efficient utilisation of project resources.
- Organise trainings, workshops, stakeholder consultations and capacity-building activities.
- Ensure programme compliance with donor requirements and organisational standards.
- Prepare progress reports, presentations, case studies and impact stories.
- Support proposal development, programme design and expansion opportunities.
- Coordinate donor and partner visits to project locations.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Promote innovation, learning and best-practice replication.
- Ensure safeguarding, inclusion and ethical programme implementation.

Qualification
- Master’s degree in Rural Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Public Health, Education, Management, Sociology, Public Administration or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in development-sector programme implementation.
- At least 2–3 years of experience managing teams or multi-location programmes.
- Experience working with government stakeholders, CSR partners or institutional donors will be preferred.
